I have written a previous article on UCWA and how it will enable very interesting new integration capabilities and today the UCWA documentation site is live.
Now we know exactly what features are included in RTM UCWA API as outlined here:
Some of the interesting features that made it:
- Phone Audio (aka Call-Via-Work)
- Anonymous Access
- Schedule Online Meeting
- Join an Online Meeting
It has been noted that VoIP, Video and Sharing will be enabled in UCWA sometime after RTM, but not exactly when.
You will need the Lync Server 2013 Feb 2013 CU/CU1 update to get UCWA functionality.
