Check It Out: Scott Hanselman’s Lync 2010 Super Simple Auto Answer Video Kiosk

Scott Hanselman is working on some code to add video autoanswer capability to Lync 2010 along with far end video control using Microsoft Inbox UVC drivers. He is focusing on the new Logitech BCC950 ConferenceCam (a very interest device which I recently reviewed)

This little Super Simple Auto Answer Video Kiosk (ahem) app has some interesting uses

• cheap room video system
• a kind of security camera you can dial into
• Scott’s mission: Using Lync video to connect remote workers
