Now developer Thomas Stock from Orbitone has a produced a free Lync presence and chat widget that will allow your customers to chat to you from your website. I haven't had a chance to test it yet but my first impression is: Someone did a very nice job on this. I glanced at the documentation which looks well laid out and thorough as well. Go check it out!
