New #snom IP DeskPhone Does Multi-Touch, Video, Uses Native Lync 2013 Software?

[NOTE: At the moment all I have is these pictures]

The pictures appear to be a snom device sporting a large multi-touch screen and video cam. From what I can see the software running on this device looks similar to Lync 2013 Mobile.

Does this have something to do with snom’s recent posting about a position opening for a Senior Android developer?

We are hearing the device supports the following features:

  • Multi-party video calling (active speaker only)
  • Multi-touch and swipe gesture navigation
  • Exchange Calendar integration and Lync meeting Join from the phone
  • Direct Blue-tooth headset support
  • The phone can receive IM’s Directly on the phone

This looks like one phone I need to get my hands on.

Happy April!

  1. Lync Phone Edition has no attendant console and does not integrated to the Lync Attenant Console. snom has their snom Vision and Polycom VVX is planning to introduce an expansion module.yeastar
