How To Use a Report?
Just download the report and upload it to your SQL Reporting Services.
The typical URL for your SQL Reporting Services Home is http://{Your_SQL_Reporting_Server_Name}/Reports
Next Open Your Lync Monitoring Server Reports folder (Lync ServerReports) then open the “Reports_Content” folder.
From here you Upload the report file you downloaded from the repository by clicking “Upload File”.
Now you should be able to click the report you just uploaded and get a fresh new look at your Lync data!
NOTE: Make sure if you are uploading a report that overwrites an original report that you have a copy of the original report.
How to Submit a Report?
You can submit a report by emailing your report to mattmlandis at gmail with a subject of “Lync Report”. A short description of the report and if it is compatible with Lync 2010 and/or Lync 2013. Also include your name and URL for attribution.
I suggest having the report Data Source be either CDRDB or QMSDB.

Hi Matt, hope you're well.
ReplyDeleteI've got an interesting query from a customer who wants count how often an individual Lync 2013 user is using each modality, i.e. IM, EV, Conferencing. I cannot see anything ready made, so before I work out how to do to it myself I thought I would check in for any ideas!
dont know of a report like that offhand. if you make one, we could include in repository
ReplyDeleteOk, I'l let you know how I get on
ReplyDeleteNot quite a Reports Server report yet (but it will be soon as I have the time), but here's a free basic solution to Lync Call Accounting. The solution can figure out who should be billed for the call, then looks up that users name, department and company up in Active Directory - http://www.lync.geek.nz/2014/03/lync-call-accounting-for-user-or.html. Please leave feedback so I can improve it.
ReplyDeleteyou really ought to make that a ssrs monitoring report. ;) seems like it would be a good fit.
DeleteI have been asked for the exact same report Chris.. Have you accomplished it? Would be if great help.
